May we suggest?
Okay, we won’t wait for an answer. We are going to go ahead and make the suggestion.
Please forgive us.
Those who run and administer Oakes Ames Memorial Hall look at our wondrous and magnificent building as an event and meeting space that can stand alone for a destination – or which can be linked to and combined with other spaces to create a most memorable occasion.
As for those other spaces, we recommend highly buildings and outdoor places set near Oakes Ames Memorial Hall, and which are located in the North Easton Historic District, which contains the H.H. Richardson Historic District, an area listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
During warm parts of the year, this part of the reception could also be held at the gorgeous Queset Gardens, Italianate gardens set behind the Ames Free Library – or in combination with the library.
After cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, festivities could repair to Oakes Ames Hall for dinner, dancing, and music.
Think of photo opportunities made available with this reception and event.
Yes, this would be a reception held on and within and alongside the artistry and decorations of some of the most revered and acclaimed designers and architects in the history of the republic.
Just a thought.
We get the ball rolling.
We encourage you to use your imagination.
